You can use the Highlight Compression to highlight values in the 32 bit per channel HDR image so that will fit into the
dynamic range of the 8 or 16 bit final file. If you selected the 8 or 16 bits options, your window will look something like this: |

Using the Highlight Compression setting is automated, you will not need any further adjustment. It will use its
algorithms to “squeeze” or compress all the color information available in the 32 bit file in the 16 bit one. |

Click OK and let the software adjust the image accordingly. |

Step 20 |
The Equalize Histogram feature is also used to fit the HDR image parameters and information in the 8 or 16 bit final
picture. It will compress the HDR image’s dynamic range, but tries to preserve as much contrast as possible in the process. |
