Step 3
When processing the RAW files, be sure to keep the same parameters for all the files. You can use for example the latest version of Camera Raw for this part, as it is an intuitive and powerful tool in the same time.

Step 4
After you have changed the files into a format readable by Photoshop and having 8 or 16 bit of color information, you can start using the Merge to HDR tool itself. This is found under the File > Automate menu in Photoshop.

Step 5
If you use Adobe Bridge to organize and browse the images on your computer, there is direct way to Merge to HDR from Bridge. Go to the Tools option > Photoshop > Merge to HDR. This will open un Photoshop and the images you have selected will be automatically imported in the program.

Step 6
When you select the Merge to HDR option, the following dialog window will appear.

This window allows you to import into Photoshop the images you want to merge. The file formats which can be used are the ones readable by Photoshop, but TIFF or PSD are preferred for their additional information available. If you want to work faster or have a less powerful machine, you can use JPEGs.

Step 7
Once the Merge To HDR dialog box appears, click Browse until you reach the desired files, select the images, and click Open.
