Step 6 |
Next, select the “Clone Stamp Tool”. You will find it in the tool bar. Select the
default settings (mode: normal, opacity: 100% and flow: 100%). Set up the settings for the brush by clicking on the button with the black triangle next to
the “brush” setting. Chose a value of 9 px for the Master Diameter and 0% for the Hardness value. |

Step 7 |
Be sure you have the “aligned” box checked in the Clone Stamp Tool option bar. Select
the Clone Stamp Tool and hold down the “Alt” key and move the cursor to the upper right part of the eyebrow. Press and
release the left mouse button in order to mark the source area for the Clone Stamp Tool. Release the “Alt” key. |

Go to your image preview window and zoom in to a 300% value. Select the Zoom Tool and select the area you want to zoom
in using your mouse. Click and drag the rectangle around that area. |

Step 9 |
In order to make the eyebrow look smaller, you need to clone the skin above the eyebrow and use it to hide the upper
area of the eyebrow. Start by pressing the mouse right button and describe an imaginary arch above the top of the eyebrow. You will see how the eyebrow will
shrink and it will be replaced by skin color. Using the cloned skin tone, repeat the process starting each time slightly lower than before until the eyebrow
looks thinner. You will need to perform 3 or 4 such passes, depending on how thick the eyebrow initially was. Check the before and after picture: |

Step 10 |
After passing a few times over the eyebrow, it is possible that you will end up with some artifacts, unnatural
patterns. Use the Clone Stamp Tool to correct this and now use cloned skin from another source. You can try decreasing the “opacity”
value to around 50% and a smaller brush when trying to correct these artifacts. |

Step 11 |
Another way to correct these patterns is by using the “Healing Brush Tool”, because
this tool keeps the lightness and the color very close to the initial values. You will find the Healing Brush Tool in the tool menu in Photoshop’s main
window. |
